Mark Adrian Stewart

Mark Adrian Stewart is an energetic person that is driven by helping others along with the will to achieve success, Educated at Villanova College, and Griffith University he has tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business Management and Sales with 15 Years of Management experience in a customer focused workforce. He enjoys working with people to foster an open communication environment and has a passion to succeed in any challenge.


Mark has proven experience in project management and delivery of projects within the required timelines and a strong background in building Business Relationships and Sales Management with a developed Knowledge and understanding of proactive relationship strategies and techniques.

Mark grew up in the Sunnybank area with his parents and two sisters. As a father himself, Mark had a strong interest in the future of the community and an understanding of the current pressures on families. Mark stood for the State seat of Sunnybank in the 2012 state election. Mark was elected to the Queensland Parliament for a term of three years as the State Member for Sunnybank on 24 March 2012. While a Member of Parliament he was also appointed to the Finance and Administration Committee along with various other multicultural committees.

Mark started his career in the Queensland Government working for the Department of Corrective Services in many different administrative and management roles. Mark also worked for 13 years at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre and was appointed as a Front-of-House Manager in 2007. Mark was the Marketing and Sales Manager for a privately owned leading-edge signage company in Brisbane for over 5 years prior to the 2012 State Election. Mark is currently the Business Development Manager – Queensland for The Signcraft Group Australias Largest Signage Company.
